As a single mother, I knew that I needed to find a way to provide for my family and give my children the best possible future. I had always been interested in finance, and I began to devour every book and article I could find on the subject. As I learned about budgeting, credit, insurance, and investing, I began to see a way forward.

I started by creating a budget that worked for my family's needs. I cut back on unnecessary expenses and found ways to save money on everyday purchases. Next, I tackled my credit score. I learned how to negotiate with creditors and established a plan to pay off my debt. With a solid financial foundation in place, I turned my attention to insurance. I researched different policies and found the coverage that was right for my family. I also was able to invest a little at a time and watch my money grow.​

I launched A Mama's Hustle, a personal finance company dedicated to helping others achieve financial stability and success. Through my company, I've been able to empower other single mothers to take control of their finances and create a better future for themselves and their families.
